Many thanks to everyone who ventured out in the extreme heat to celebrate the Coney Island Museum’s 40th anniversary! It was great to share this special day with family, friends, and supporters, and we were so honored that our elected officials came out to mark the milestone with special proclamations. We’re also very grateful to the folks who gave so generously of their time and talents: Richard Cohn and friends for setting the musical vibe; Bob Yorburg for amazing us with his acts of prestidigitation AND the magic of his antique band organ; Larry Racioppo for sharing his iconic photographic visions of Coney Island; and to Ian Fraser for his virtuoso performance on theater organ. We love you all!

As always, thank you to Coney Island USA’s Board of Directors and staff, as well as our amazing volunteers, for supporting the Museum and its mission. Many thanks to Norman Blake for the fabulous photos!
